How to End Your Day

and I received so many responses about

how such a simple thing could make

such a difference.

I was so inspired by your emails and texts, that I decided

to write about your evening routine

and how you can release the energy of the day.

 

You see, I believe we are all sensitive souls

and we pick up energies throughout our

day.

Either knowingly, or unknowingly.

 

And, sometimes those energies stick around.

 

Keep reading if you want to know how to clear your own energy.

 

BEDTIME RITUAL

After your skin care, teethbrushing and hygiene routines-

 

When you get ready to go to sleep for the night,

shut down all your devices.

Do some light stretching and feel your muscles releasing tension.

 

Write what you're grateful for in a journal, or read a few pages from a book, to prepare my body for a deep and restful sleep.

 

TRY THIS

1) Say out loud (or in your head): "What's mine stays with me, what's not mine must leave." Then imagine the angels or your guides carrying away any energy that doesn't belong to you

 

2) Give thanks. For the day you just experienced, for all that you have and all that you are. And, if you are running out of something to be grateful for- simply be grateful for your bed.

(sometimes, it's okay if that is all you can muster)

 

3) Bless everything. Give thanks to your bank accounts, your home, your bed, your partner, your family, your pets, your car, your feet, your cranky neighbor, co-workers, the food in your kitchen, your computer, EVERYTHING. (you get the idea)

 

4) Release: I am letting go of things I can't control

 

5) Take 3 DEEP cleansing breaths, feel supported by the Earth and gently close your eyes.

 

Find a beautiful bedtime prayer that fits your beliefs,

create your own

or start with this one:

 

"I pray for a deep and restorative sleep tonight, calm my mind and relax my body. May peace descend upon me like a gentle dove, allowing me to find tranquility in your presence.

I also lift up those who may be in need of your

Protection and comfort tonight.

And so it is, Amen"
