What is the Roadmap to Joy?

 

The roadmap to joy began when I coached a client a year ago

who was looking to retire from a long and successful career.

 

Unsure of her next steps, she turned to me to help her create a plan.

 

And plan we did!!

 

I came up with a very customized, and personalized plan for her

to help her navigate 10 months of a very stressful time.

 

You see, she was also healing from an injury-

but she was determined to stay the course and

retire on HER OWN TERMS>

 

While I won't give the particulars, I will say

that when I tuned into her energy;

I got a clear picture ot how we were going to move

forward.

 

It was a framework for the Roadmap to Joy

 

Every month she had a Theme of focus and word.

 

The last one was:

 

Celebration: JOY

What an honor it was to help guide her through this milestone!

 

 

So, this week, I wanted to give you an idea of how to create your own roadmap to joy.

 

The first step?

 

CLARITY

 

Without clarity, you will just bumble through your day-

not living with any purpose, simply putting

out fires and attending to the first thing that pulls you.

 

But, if I know you,

I know that you want to live a more meaningful life.

One where you are more present to all that's going on around you.

 

Clarity helps us to define our desires and challenges us to say "NO" to the things that drain our energy.

When we have clarity, we have a CLEAR sense of where we are headed-

and that includes who is along for the ride.

 

 

Here are a few thoughts to help bring more clarity into your life:

 

โœ”Clear the clutter in your life (both inner and outer)

โœ”Clarify your intention and goal(s)

โœ” Focus on your heart

โœ”Ask to remove limiting thoughts and fears

โœ”Surround yourself with light

โœ”Follow your energy (rest when you are tired)

โœ”Vision each path and see which holds the most light for you

โœ”Ask to be shown the next step toward your goal

โœ”See yourself living the life of your dreams

โœ” Be a pillar of peace throughout your day

โœ”Set your intention to be PRESENT
